Governing Body of the Town of Beulaville

The governing body of the Town of Beulaville consists of a Mayor and five Commissioners to serve on the Town Board. The Mayor and members of the Town Board are elected by the citizens of Beulaville from the town at large. This governing body is the final authority on policy matters relating to the Town of Beulaville. The Town Board employs a Town Manager to handle the day-to-day management and operations of the town.

The Mayor and Board of Commissioners are elected on a nonpartisan at-large basis. The elected candidates are determined by a plurality of the votes. Terms for Commissioners are for a period of four years, and are staggered.

Town Meetings
 

Town Meetings are held on the first Monday of every month at the Town Hall at 6:30 PM. In the event that the first Monday falls on a legal holiday, the regular meeting for that month shall be held on the first Tuesday of said month or as designated by the Board.  Town citizens are encouraged to attend these meetings to keep informed of town issues and to provide their own input.
